Time keeps passing. You're caught between who you are now and who you want to be.

Have you been imagining yourself finally feeling at peace with all of who you are.

No guilt, no second-guessing, but a clear sense of what you want and the confidence to go after it?

I'm Alex Livermore and as a coach, I help people who feel lost, burned out or stuck in self-doubt, understand what's holding them back, so they can stop waiting and start moving towards what truly matters to them.

Because I know how exhausting it is to keep circling around the same place without knowing which way to turn.

Maybe you already know something needs to change. But knowing hasn't made it any easier.

Have you ever felt like you...

Wake up already feeling behind, go to bed having not done what you'd planned, and repeat

Spend enormous amounts of energy deciding where to put your limited time, worn down by constant guilt

Push aside what matters when other demands show up

Hold back from admitting how much something matters to you, because saying it out loud feels too vulnerable

If any of that sounds familiar, this is for you.

I bring empathy, calm and lived experience.

For years I've lived a dual life: composing music for TV and media (My Music Work), while working full-time in project management, operations, teaching and employment coaching. To most people, I was my job title. Inside, I knew I was capable of more.

What I didn't have back then, was someone to tell me that I didn't need to be frightened of doing what I loved the most. That the voices telling me that I wasn't capable, wasn't good enough, wasn't allowed — weren't mine.

They were echoes of past experiences, old stories I'd inherited and never questioned. I didn't need to put barriers in my own way, or wait until I had it all worked out. That the process itself — messy and uncertain as it was and always will be, is where real growth and purpose lies.

What I bring to this work, is an understanding of what it feels like to be caught between who you are now and who you know you could be.

I've sought out this kind of support at different points in my own life and it's helped me take the leaps I was once only dreaming of.

Coaching and mentoring offered me perspective, when I wasn't able to see past my own doubts. A reassuring, steady presence, when I was putting obstacles in my own way.

It gave me the space to explore what those obstacles looked like and where they were really coming from. As well as, the accountability to set realistic steps and follow through with them.

That's what I want to offer you.

People who know me describe me as empathetic, calm and a good listener. As well as, being someone who genuinely cares and helps break things down into manageable pieces.

I work with you the way I always imagined someone had worked with me in my position: without judgement, at your own pace and with the belief that you are capable of more than the voices in your head are telling you.

Why Choose Coaching

I know from my own experience that it's one thing to sense what needs to change and another thing to do something about it.

Trying to untangle everything that's going on in your head, turn it into something actionable and then follow through with it alone is hard.

When we're so close to something — especially something we care deeply about — it can be difficult to see it clearly without the emotion and overwhelm taking over.

That's what coaching with me offers you.

I will never tell you what you should do, but I will help you work out what's really in the way, figure out what realistic steps forward look like and be alongside you while you take them.

I'm organised and reliable in how I support you and you don't need to have it all worked out before we start.

Frequently Asked Questions

We have a conversation about what's going on in your life. I'll ask questions that help you see patterns you've been experiencing, we'll explore what's been blocking you and we'll work together to identify practical next steps. Sessions are collaborative - not me telling you what to do, but us figuring out what works for you.

For the Foundation and Sustained Support packages, we can discuss splitting payments if that makes it more manageable. We’ll discuss this during your initial call and we'll figure out what works.

If you don't have time to stop and figure out what's keeping you stuck, you'll keep spending your limited time and energy the same way - exhausted, guilty, and frustrated. Coaching sessions are an investment of 1-2 hours every couple of weeks. The question is whether that's worth investing in and if you want to make the changes you know you can.

All my coaching sessions are one-to-one and personalised to you. Sessions are online via video call, so you can join from wherever is comfortable and private for you.

Therapy typically focuses on healing past experiences and processing trauma. Coaching focuses on where you are now and where you want to go - addressing the beliefs, structures, and practical barriers keeping you stuck. If you're dealing with significant mental health challenges, therapy might be more appropriate. Coaching works best when you want to dissect, explore and take action but need support, clarity, and accountability to do it.

Book a free initial call and we'll talk through whatever's on your mind.
